What is SEO?

1. On-page SEO

On-Page SEO refers to optimising individual web pages on your website. These are the pages that visitors actually land on after they enter your domain name into their browser. On-page SEO includes things like keyword density, title tags, meta descriptions, internal linking, and much more.

2. Off-page SEO

Off-Page SEO refers to the offsite optimization of your website. This includes backlinks, social media marketing, press releases, article submissions, etc. Off-page SEO helps improve your ranking in SERPs (search engine results pages) by increasing the number and quality of links pointing back to your site.

3. Technical SEO

Technical SEO refers to the technical aspects of your website. Things like server speed, mobile friendliness, and security are all considered technical SEO. Technical SEO is often overlooked but is extremely important. If your website isn't optimized technically, then it won't perform well for searchers.

4. Content Marketing
Content Marketing is essentially the same thing as blogging. You create useful and informative content on your website and share it across different platforms. This helps drive traffic to your website.
5. Local SEO

Local SEO is becoming increasingly popular. In fact, Google recently announced that local rankings would start to factor inbound citations. A citation is basically any website that mentions your business name and location. When someone writes about your business online, you'll get credit for that mention.

6. Mobile SEO

Mobile SEO is getting more and more attention these days. We've seen a huge increase in searches done on smartphones and tablets. People use them while walking around, waiting in line at restaurants, or even shopping! So if you don't optimize your website for mobile devices, you're missing out on a lot of potential traffic.
